COLLOSEUM

The building’s dimensions are impressive. It measures 189 meters (615 ft / 640 Roman feet) long and 156 meters (510 ft) wide, with a base area of 6 acres (24,000 m2). The height of the outer wall is 48 meters (157 ft), equivalent to a 12-15 story building. The perimeter originally measured 545 meters (1,788 ft). The central arena is an oval (287 ft) long and (180 ft) wide, surrounded by a wall (15 ft) high. The colossal monument could accommodate more than 50,000 spectators who could enter through 80 entrances. It is elliptical in plan. Above the wooden arena floor, there are other four floors, each one being a complex set of rooms and passageways, stairways and rows of seats. Te upper floors were destined to the lower classes and women. The lowest floor was dedicated to prominent citizens. Below the ground were rooms and cages for wild animals and the mechanical devices. There were passageways between the cages and the arena, through witch the animals could appear to the public. The Colosseum was covered with a huge awning, the velarium. More than 1,000 men were used to install it by anchor it to the ground. The velarium was used to protect the spectators from the sun.

EDUCATION FOR A BETTER FUTURE FOR ALL

Education is the most important thing in this life because with education we can do anything we want. Where do you get your education? 

School. School is a place where you meet teacher who will teach you about anything you want to know. Teacher is just like your parents but they're your parents in school. 

Now let's talk about our problems in school. First of all I know you guys hate homeworks. And the problem is most of students,doesn't do their homeworks. Based on research,some of the students lazy to do their homeworks and some others said that homeworks doesn't important. I think some homeworks DID important because by homeworks we can exercise. But some homeworks can be useless. 

I think our education need to be updated. Because if we want our country to be a advanced country,we need to improved it. The teachers MUST understand the students. That's how to make our country to be advanced country.

LAST HOLIDAY

Last holiday I and my family went holiday to Yogyakarta. I went to Yogyakarta on Monday. We went there by car.

Before went to Yogyakarta. First I was prepared something, for example : I was prepared some snack, soft drink,. I was very busy, because I was ironed clothes. I was very tired, but I was very happy.

On Monday, I would went to Yogyakarta. Before went to Yogyakarta. We gethered in my house. After that we arrived in car. I sat with my brother. On the way, I was ate some snack, soft drink. After, I was satisfied and I was felt sleepy, tired. Then I was slept. After that I was got up and I was listened music. On the way very long, I saw some admire there. Admire there very beautiful. Before arrivedm we stopped in shop for bought ice cream, but I ate ice cream in car. After on the way very long, finish we arrived in Yogyakarta. I was very tired, but I was very happy.

After arrived in Yogyakarta. First I went to Yogyakarta harbour, I was happy, but I was dizzy. After that we went to zoo, there I saw animals. After saw animals, I saw admire there with walked, there I saw admire river. After satisfied I had luch together. After that I played there. After that, we went to Malioboro. On the way I was slept. After on the way old, finish arrived in Malioboro, I was got up, I was very happy, then I saw admire there very beautiful. I was enjoy. I was bought some snack and some souvenir for family in the house. There I took a picture. After that I had dinner together. Before ate we gathered in field for dinner. After dinner we prayed together.

After prayed, I was enjoyed night admire. Very beautiful. I cannot went home. Before we went home we gethered. I was sad, because I would went home. After long a time enjoy admire. I was satisfied and would went home.

After satisfied, we went home. On the way went home, I was very tired, but I was very happy. Then I was slept. On the way went home at night. After on the way very old, finish we arrived in the house I arrived in the house at 10.00 p.m. After arrived in the house, I then slept, because I was tired. I was very happy.

LKS/RINDAM

Hello world, Today I'm going to tell you about LKS. LKS is a leadership training  for students. This kind of event is expected to make us a great leader and make our mental stronger. So, the LKS in SMAN 3 Bandung was held at Thursday, November 5th - Saturday, November 7th 2015. It was placed in Rindam III / Siliwangi,in Manado street. It was like a military base (if I'm not mistaken). I was kind of afraid to face this training, because my father said it will be like a military academy,and we must be very very discipline.

So, at the first day I went there by motorcycle, bring my carrier and we all sit in a line. Our name were called one by one, and the soldier name,was so funny.His name is Lois Panjaitan and this is my fthe first time I met funny soldier like him.

After that, there's a presentation, and then we had lunch. Before eating our lunch, we have to sing a song. it sounded like this :

We must sing this song every time we are going to eat. And then there's some rule while eating. We must sit really straight, only our right hand  that is allowed to be on the table, don't make any noise, and our hand that approach our mouth,not our mouth approach the hand.

I'm not going to tell you about the training, presentations, and stuffs like that because it's not fun to be told here right? so, next I'm going to tell you about other weird things. when we take a bath/shower (we don't literally take a bath or shower because there was none of them) we have to shower really quick. and you know what? It's a toilet for us all. there's no wall or something to separate each of us. That's why we didn't take off all of our clothes. I didn't even take a bath, guys. I just brush my teeth and wash my face and hair.I only take a bath on the last day,because we get one hour to take a bath an clean our bed in barrack.When I sleep in barrack,I think it was very very uncomfortable,because in my barrack,we must “fight” with mosquito every night.

And there's a really stupid incident. Seven of us (not me) were caught 'stole' something from the canteen. but someone said it was a total lie.And on the last day,I feel very very tired and sleepy.Finally,this event finished at 12 o’clock.
